Abstract:
(EN) A low power, dual mode BIMOS circuit generates the required drive voltage for illuminating an electroluminescent display panel from a low voltage, preferably a single cell (101). The BIMOS circuit comprises a MOS section (202) having at least one MOS transistor for providing an output voltage (208) and bipolar section (205) having at least one bipolar transistor for enabling the MOS section (202), the bipolar section (205) being disabled subsequent to the MOS section (202) being enabled.
(FR) L'invention se rapporte à un circuit BIMOS à deux modes et de faible puissance, qui génère la tension d'excitation requise pour éclairer un panneau d'affichage électroluminescent à partir d'une source basse tension, telle que de préférence un élément de batterie unique (101). Le circuit BIMOS comprend une section MOS (202) ayant au moins un transistor MOS destiné à fournir une tension de sortie (208), ainsi qu'une section bipolaire (205) ayant au moins un transistor bipolaire destiné à activer la section MOS (202), la section bipolaire (205) étant inactivée lorsque la section MOS (202) est activée.
