Abstract:
(EN) An automatic harness testing apparatus (20) tests a multiconductor single connector wire harness for continuity faults in each conductive path of the wire harness by capacitively inducing an oscillatory test signal through the insulation of the conductors, probing each of the terminals (24) of the connector and sequentially testing each probe (67) for the presence of a test signal having a predetermined amplitude.
(FR) Dispositif automatique de test de harnais de câbles (20) destiné à tester un harnais de câbles multiconducteur à raccord unique pour détecter des défauts de continuité dans chaque voie conductrice dudit harnais des câbles en induisant de manière capacitive un signal test oscillatoire à travers la gaine isolante des conducteurs, en explorant chacune des attaches d'extrémité (24) du raccord et en testant chaque résultat d'exploration de manière séquentielle (67) afin de détecter la présence d'un signal test ayant une amplitude prédéterminée.
