Abstract:
(EN) A silicone matrix is employed to form a substance-sensitive membrane which is particularly suited for installation on a solid state sensor. The ionophore may be a potassium ionophore, an ammonium ionophore, or any other ionophore. The membrane may be coupled to the molecule of interest through a bioactive agent, such as an enzyme, an immunochemical, bacteria, antibody, virus, or antigen. The resulting substance-sensitive membrane has electrochemical properties which compare favorably to those of conventional PVC membranes, and exhibit significantly greater adhesion to glasses and semiconductor substrate materials. The improved adhesion will prolong the life of the sensors and prevent the formation of electrolyte shunts which have been known to render solid state sensors inoperative.
(FR) On utilise une matrice de silicone pour former une membrane sensible aux substances, particulièrement appropriée pour être installée sur un capteur monolithique. L'ionophore peut être un ionophore de potassium, un ionophore d'ammonium ou n'importe quel autre ionophore. La membrane peut être couplée à la molécule d'intérêt par l'intermédiaire d'un agent bioactif, tel qu'une enzyme, un agent immunochimique, une bactérie, un anticorps, un virus ou un antigène. La membrane sensible aux substances qui en résulte présente des propriétés électrochimiques qui sont avantageusement comparables à celles des membranes en PVC traditionnelles, et elles se caractérisent par une adhérence considérablement supérieure aux verres et aux matériaux de substrats à semiconducteurs. Cette adhérence améliorée prolonge la durée de vie des capteurs et empêche la formation de dérivations électrolytiques dont on sait qu'elles rendent inopérationnels les capteurs monolithiques.
