Abstract:
(EN) The apparatus comprises a cuvette comprising a first body member and a second body member each having a planar facial surface. The first and the second body members are movable relative to one another between a first position, in which the surfaces are in fluid-tight contact with one another, and a second position, in which the surfaces are spaced apart. In the first position, an elongated flow area is defined by a groove provided in one of the surfaces. An inlet for feeding the liquid to the flow area and an outlet for discharging the liquid from the flow area are provided in one of the body members. The body members are transparent to light to which the particles are exposed and further transparent to the radiation emitted by the particles. Two electrodes are further provided for carrying out an election of particles suspended in the liquid.
(FR) L'appareil comprend une cuvette comportant un premier élément ainsi qu'un second élément dotés chacun d'une surface plane. Les premier et second éléments sont mobiles l'un par rapport à l'autre entre une première position dans laquelle les surfaces sont en contact étanche au fluide l'une avec l'autre, et une seconde position dans laquelle les surfaces sont espacées. Dans la première position, une zone d'écoulement allongée est définie par une gorge située dans une des surfaces. Une admission permettant l'alimentation en liquide de la zone d'écoulement et une sortie permettant la décharge du liquide de ladite zone d'écoulement sont ménagées dans un des éléments. Les éléments sont transparents à la lumière à laquelle les particules sont exposées, et ils sont transparents au rayonnement émis par les particules. On a également prévu deux électrodes permettant de procéder à un choix de particules en suspension dans le liquide.
