Abstract:
(EN) The editing and layout processing of a gradient image such as a photograph, and a non-gradient image inputted into an image processing means (13) shown in (Fig. 2) is performed, and based on a data file, a dye accepting layer (21) is formed in a gradient image forming region of a mount (26) shown in (Fig. 3) by an image forming means (18). A gradient image (22) is formed in the dye accepting layer by a thermal transfer method, and a non-gradient image (23), such as of characters, combined with the gradient image is printed before or after forming the gradient image. Further, a protective layer (24) is formed on the gradient image (22) and, if necessary, on the non-gradient image (23) by a protective layer transferring means incorporated in the image forming means (18), thereby fabricating a card such as a business card set with a photograph, and a pamphlet such as a passport. The gradient and non-gradient images can be formed on an ordinal paper without damaging the texture and facility of writing by forming the accepting layer region only in the gradient image region part. Also, by using thermal transfer image receiving sheets formed with a pattern (such as ground tint), the background of an image, such as of ground tint can be formed, preventing forgery and alteration of such cards and pamphlets.
(FR) Cette invention consiste à effectuer les opérations de préparation et de traçage d'une image à gradation, telle qu'une photographie, et d'une image sans gradation introduites dans un organe de traitement d'images (13) et à former, sur la base d'un fichier de données, au moyen d'un organe de formation d'images (18), une couche réceptrice de colorant (21) dans une région de formation d'images à gradation d'un support (26). Une image à gradation (22) est formée dans la couche réceptrice de colorant par un procédé de transfert thermique et une image sans gradation (23), par exemple un ensemble de caractères, combinée avec l'image à gradation est imprimée avant ou après la formation de l'image à gradation. Une couche protectrice (24) est en outre formée sur l'image à gradation (22) et, si nécessaire, sur l'image sans gradation (23) au moyen d'un organe de transfert de couche protectrice incorporé dans l'organe de formation d'images (18), ce qui permet de produire des cartes, par exemple des cartes de visite commerciales, comportant une photographie, ainsi que des documents tels que des passeports. On peut former les images à gradation et sans gradation sur un papier ordinaire, sans endommager sa texture et sa capacité à recevoir des caractères d'écriture, en formant la région de la couche réceptrice uniquement dans la partie de la région comportant l'image à gradation. En utilisant des feuilles réceptrices d'images à transfert thermique pourvues d'un motif (tel qu'une teinte de base), on peut également former le fond d'une image, par exemple en teinte de base, tout en empêchant les falsifications et les altérations de ces cartes et documents.
