Abstract:
(EN) Hydraulic hammers are normally controlled by an actuating valve (32) which controls the flow of fluid from a source (27) of pressurized fluid to the hydraulic hammer. During certain periods of operation, the actuating valve totally blocks communication of fluid to the hydraulic hammer (10) thereby causing the fluid from the source (27) of pressurized fluid to be expelled through a relief valve (59). The subject hydraulic hammer and control arrangement therefor includes an accumulator (58) for storing the pressurized fluid from the source of pressurized fluid (27) during periods of fluid blockage by the actuating valve and for supplementing the flow of fluid from the source of pressurized fluid when the actuating valve is communicating pressurized fluid to the hydraulic hammer. This increases the overall efficiency thereof.
(FR) Les marteaux hydrauliques sont normalement commandés par une soupape de commande (32) qui règle le flux du fluide depuis la source (27) de fluide sous pression jusqu'au marteau hydraulique. Pendant certaines périodes de fonctionnement, la soupape de commande bloque totalement la communication de fluide au marteau hydraulique (10), ce qui a pour conséquence que le fluide venant de la source (27) de fluide sous pression est évacué par une soupape de surpression (59). Le marteau hydraulique et son dispositif de commande selon la présente invention comportent un accumulateur (58) pour stocker le fluide sous pression venant de la source (27) de fluide sous pression pendant les périodes de blocage du fluide par la soupape de commnande et pour compléter le flux de fluide venant de la source de fluide sous pression quand la soupape de commande communique du fluide sous pression au marteau hydraulique. Il en résulte un accroissement du rendement total.
