Abstract
(EN) An apparatus and method for picking up and manipulating randomly oriented and randomly positioned objects moving on an object belt and transferring them to randomly oriented and randomly positioned destinations moving on a destination belt (110). An image processing unit (14) using a vision system identifies and locates objects and destinations in successive overlapping vision windows up to a predetermined optimum number of objects. The locations of those objects and destinations are entered in an output queue which is transmitted to the object and destination location queues of a first robot motion controller. The first robot (200) picks up and deposits to destinations all the objects it can in the time available while the objects and destinations pass, and enters the locations of the objects not picked up and destinations to which no object is placed in an output queue which is transmitted to the object and destination location queues of a second robot motion controller.
(FR) Appareil et procédé de ramassage et de manipulation d'objets orientés et positionnés au hasard, se déplaçant sur une bande d'objets, et de transfert de ces derniers vers des destinations orientées et positionnées au hasard, se déplaçant sur une bande de destination (110). Une unité de traitement d'image (14) utilisant un système vidéo, identifie et situe des objets ainsi que des destinations dans des fenêtres vidéo successives se chevauchant, jusqu'à un nombre optimum d'objets prédéterminé. Les emplacements de ces objets ainsi que les destinations sont introduits dans une file d'attente de sortie, laquelle est transmise aux files d'attente d'emplacements d'objets et de destinations d'un contrôleur de mouvement d'un premier robot. Le premier robot (200) ramasse tous les objets qu'il peut dans le temps disponible et les dépose aux destinations, tandis que les objets et les destinations défilent, et il pénètre dans les emplacements des objets non ramassés ainsi que dans les destinations dans lesquelles aucun objet n'est placé dans une file d'attente de sortie, laquelle est transmise aux files d'attente d'emplacement d'objets et de destinations du contrôleur de mouvement d'un second robot.
