Abstract:
(EN) The airborne IFF antenna is comprised of: a unique radiating primary element (20); a plurality of parasitic elements (30, 40, 50) associated with said primary radiating element; and switching means for switching each of said respective parasitic elements so as to modify selectively the diagram proper to each primary radiating element in order to obtain: either an omnidirectional diagram corresponding to the IFF watching mode diagram, or a first directive diagram corresponding to the forward directive diagram in the IFF interrogation mode, or a second directive diagram corresponding to the control diagram in the IFF interrogation mode. The switching of parasite elements allows additionally, for the first and/or the second directive diagram, to obtain selectively the directive forward diagram corresponding either to a first standard IFF (Western standard) on a first frequency band or to a second IFF standard (Eastern standard) on a second frequency band different from the first frequency band.
(FR) Cette antenne IFF aéroportée comprend: un élément primaire rayonnant (20) unique, une pluralité d'éléments parasites (30, 40, 50) associés à cet élément primaire rayonnant, et des moyens de commutation, pour commuter chacun de ces éléments parasites respectifs de manière à modifier sélectivement le diagramme propre de l'élément primaire rayonnant de manière à obtenir: soit un diagramme omnidirectionnel correspondant au diagramme du mode de veille IFF, soit un premier diagramme directif correspondant au diagramme directif avant en mode d'interrogation IFF, soit un second diagramme directif correspondant au diagramme de contrôle en mode d'interrogation IFF. La commutation des éléments parasites permet en outre, pour le premier et/ou le second diagramme directif, d'obtenir sélectivement le diagramme directif avant correspondant soit à une première norme IFF (norme Western) sur une première bande de fréquences soit à une seconde norme IFF (norme Eastern) sur une seconde bande de fréquences distincte de la première.
