Abstract:
(EN) A pulse count type communication system in which the RS-232C interface is unnecessitated unlike before and the multi-terminal processing capability of a host computer can be utilized effectively as a whole since coordinate data can be transferred to the host computer via a bus-mouse interface. In the communication system, a transmission part has two pulse circuits each of which outputs a two-phase pulse train including the pulse edges whose number corresponds to an integer represented by a binary-bit train constituting data to be transferred. This transmission part transmits e.g. the coordinate data inputted through a digitizer. A reception part has two counters each of which counts the pulse edges included in the two-phase pulse train, and a reading circuit which defines the number of the counted pulse edges. The counters and the reading circuit are made up of bus-mouse interfaces.
(FR) Système de communication du type à compteur d'impulsions dans lequel l'interface RS-232C n'est plus nécessaire et la puissance de traitement multiterminale d'un ordinateur serveur peut servir efficacement toute seule puisque l'on peut transférer des données coordonnées à l'ordinateur serveur par l'intermédiaire d'une interface bus-souris. Dans le système de communication, une partie de transmission possède deux circuits d'impulsions dont chacun sort un train d'impulsions diphasé comprenant les fronts d'impulsion dont le nombre correspond à un nombre entier représenté par un train d'éléments binaires qui constitue les données devant être transférées. Cette partie de transmission transmet, par exemple, les données coordonnées introduites par l'intermédiaire d'un numériseur. Une partie de réception possède deux compteurs dont chacun compte les fronts d'impulsions compris dans le train d'impulsions diphasé, ainsi qu'un circuit de lecture qui définit le nombre de fronts d'impulsion comptés. Les compteurs et le circuit de lecture sont constitués d'interfaces bus-souris.
