Abstract:
(EN) A method and device for the quantification of the concentration of glucose in blood and other body fluids, as well as samples derived from such fluids. The concentration of glucose being measured so as to enable a determination of the relative concentration of glucose in the sample to what is considered to be normal physiological limits. The device utilized in the measurement is a solid support to which is bound a member of a specific binding pair. Nonradioactive detection means are employed. A related device for in vivo testing is disclosed.
(FR) Le procédé et le dispositif décrits servent à quantifier la concentration du glucose présent dans le sang et dans d'autres fluides corporels, ainsi que dans des échantillons tirés de ces fluides. La concentration du glucose est mesurée de façon à permettre une détermination de la concentration de glucose dans l'échantillon par rapport à un niveau de concentration considéré comme étant situé dans les limites physiologiques normales. Le dispositif utilisé dans cette mesure est constitué par un support solide auquel est lié un élément d'une paire de liaisons spécifiques. Les organes de détection non radioactifs sont utilisés. Un dispositif associé permettant d'effectuer des tests $i(in vivo) est également décrit.
