Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to a tubular metering device for use with a tiltable supply container having a supplementary trap which fills as a main trap dispenses. The problem associated with supplementary traps employed in tiltable containers is that the contents of the supplementary trap often contaminates the main trap during dispensation thus reducing metering accuracy. A trap container having an upper portion (13) divided into a dispensing passage (22) and a metering chamber (20) by a vertical wall (18), and having a lower portion (14b, 15) which forms an undivided collecting chamber (21). The metering chamber (20) has axially spaced inlet opening (27) and vent opening (28). The metering chamber (20) is partially segregated from the collecting chambers (21) by a baffle (25) protruding from the vertical wall (18). This baffle (25) ensures accurate operation of the dispensing device and reduces its necessary volume and length.
(FR) Linvention se rapporte à un récipient pouvant être incliné possédant un compartiment supplémentaire qui se remplit alors que le compartiment principal se vide pour assurer la distribution du contenu. Le problème soulevé par les compartiments supplémentaires utilisés dans lesdits récipients est que le contenu du compartiment supplémentaire entre souvent en contact avec le compartiment principal lors de la distribution, réduisant ainsi l'exactitude de dosage. Afin de résoudre ce problème, un récipient est compartimenté avec une partie supérieure (13) divisée en un passage de distribution (22) et un compartiment de dosage (20) par une paroi verticale (18) et avec une partie inférieure (14b, 15) formant un compartiment collecteur (21) non divisé. Le compartiment de dosage (20) possède un orifice d'entrée à espacement axial (27) et un orifice d'évent (28). Le compartiment de dosage (20) est séparé partiellement des compartiments collecteurs (21) par une chicane (25) formant saillie sur la paroi verticale (18). Cette chicane (25) permet au récipient distributeur de fonctionner avec exactitude et en diminue le volume et la longueur nécessaires.
