Abstract:
(EN) A radial inflow rotor (10) for a gas turbine engine has a dual structure for improving the low cycle fatigue life of the saddle region (18). The interior core or hub of the rotor is a high strength polycrystalline alloy while a series of outer blade segments (14) is individually cast as single crystals and bonded so that their low modulus (100) crystallographic axis is aligned substantially tangential to the rotor's circumference at the saddle.
(FR) Un rotor (10) avec entrée de flux radiale pour un moteur de turbine à gaz possède une double structure pour améliorer la courte vie due à la fatigue des cycles au niveau de la région de la selle (18). Le noyau intérieur ou moyeu du rotor est constitué en un alliage polycristallin de grande résistance, et une série de segments d'aubes externes (14) est coulée individuellement comme des monocristaux et liés de sorte que leur axe cristallographique de faible module (100) est aligné sensiblement tangentiel à la circonférence du rotor au niveau de la selle.
