Abstract:
(EN) The invention provides fibers formed of a blend of metal oxide, such as titanium or zirconium oxide, with etheric phosphazene. The invention optionally contains salt for antistatic fibers. The composition of the invention is formed by preparing solutions of etheric phosphazene and inorganic alkoxides, such as titanium isopropoxide. The solutions are then formed into fibers and cured at room temperature or with moderate heating. Fibers produced can be extensible, tough, hard, flexible, or brittle. They are multicomponent blends of the titanium or zirconium oxide and phosphazene. The composite may be doped with low lattice energy salts to form conductive fibers.
(FR) Fibres composées d'un mélange d'oxydes de métal, tels que de l'oxyde de titane ou de zirconium, et de phosphazène d'éther. Le composé décrit contient facultativement du sel pour fibres antistatiques. La composition de l'invention est formée par séparation de solutions de phosphazène d'éther et d'alcoxydes inorganiques, tels que l'isopropoxyde de titane. Les solutions sont ensuite transformées en fibres et durcies à température ambiante ou par chauffage modéré. Les fibres produites peuvent être extensibles, résistantes, dures, flexibles ou fragiles. Elles sont des mélanges multiconstituants de l'oxyde de titane ou de zirconium et de phosphazène. On peut doper le composite à l'aide de sels de faible énergie de réseau afin de former des fibres conductrices.
