Abstract:
(EN) A method for avoiding drop charge switching errors in continuous ink jet printing of the kind using stimulation to regulate ink drop break-off of a linear array of ink streams. The method includes the steps of: controlling ink drop stimulation so that the phase distribution of drop break-off along the length of the ink stream array remains stable in time and charging stimulated drop streams in at least two different groups during at least two different address periods which are offset in phase so that all drop streams are addressed during a drop break-off condition.
(FR) Procédé évitant les erreurs de commutation de charge de gouttelettes dans l'impression par jet d'encre continu, du type utilisant une stimulation afin de réguler la rupture de gouttelettes d'encre d'un réseau linéaire de flux d'encre. Le procédé comprend les étapes consistant à réguler la stimulation de gouttelettes d'encre, de sorte que la répartition en phase de la rupture de gouttelettes sur la longueur du réseau de flux d'encre, reste stable dans le temps et à charger des flux de gouttelettes stimulées dans au moins deux groupes différents pendant au moins deux périodes d'adresses différentes, lesquelles sont décalées en phase de manière que tous les flux de gouttelettes sont adressés pendant un état de rupture de gouttelettes.
