Title (EN) BIOPSY INSTRUMENT
(FR) INSTRUMENTS DE BIOPSIE
Abstract:
(EN) A biopsy needle for percutaneous and direct human tissue biopsy procedures comprises a cannula (1) and a stylet (2) respectively attached to sliders (8, 9) guided for movement in a barrel (7) of a handle (5) which has a pistol grip (6). The sliders have actuating flanges (10, 11) projecting from opposite sides of the barrel for advancing them in turn with the thumb of the hand holding the instrument.
