Abstract:
(EN) A blood pressure cuff (10) formed by a cylindrical envelope (14) of flexible, non-resilient, air-impermeable material. The envelope is divided into two circumferentially spaced sections (40, 42) that are isolated from each other thereby forming two separate bladders (40, 42) each of which may be separately inflated. One bladder (40) is inflated to snug the cuff (10) around the arm of a patient while the other bladder (42) is used to make a blood pressure measurement in a conventional manner.
(FR) Un brassard (10) de mesure de la pression artérielle est formé d'une enveloppe (14) cylindrique en un matériau souple, non élastique, imperméable à l'air. L'enveloppe est subdivisée en deux sections (40, 42) espacées dans le sens de la circonférence et isolées l'une de l'autre, formant deux vessies (40, 42) séparées qui peuvent être gonflées séparément. Une vessie (40) est gonflée afin d'ajuster le brassard autour du bras du patient alors que l'autre vessie (42) est utilisée pour effectuer de manière usuelle la mesure de la pression artérielle.
