Title (EN) IRRIGATION APPARATUS AND METHOD
(FR) PROCEDE ET APPAREIL D'IRRIGATION
Abstract:
(EN) The invention is concerned with irrigation apparatus particularly apparatus suitable for watering a high patch of ground adequately without over watering adjacent lower ground. The apparatus is particularly suitable for selective watering of dry ground such as golf greens and tees and newly seeded areas. A plurality of containers (12) are linked together by coupling means (20) in an array. Each container has a base (14) formed with a plurality of apertures (16) defined by nozzles (17) projecting below the base to give a drip feet from the container, the side walls (13) of the container project below the base to form barriers or supports (15) which rest on the ground and prevent water running over the ground from the area under the base.
