Abstract:
(EN) A display system comprises a cathode ray tube (10) including an electron gun (12) for producing a modulated beam of electrons and means (14, 15) for focusing the beam of electrons and scanning it along a strip (17) of phosphor to produce a linear display. Optical scanning means comprising a first vibrating mirror (26) and a second mirror (30) mounted parallel to the first mirror (26) between which an image of the linear display may be reflected several times, is provided to enable viewing of successive images of the linear display in axially aligned juxtaposed relationship, to produce a two dimensional display.
(FR) Un dispositif de visualisation se compose d'un tube cathodique (10) comprenant un canon à électrons (12) destiné à produire un faisceau modulé d'électrons, et d'un système (14, 15) servant à focaliser le faisceau d'électrons et à le balayer sur une bande (17) de luminophore afin de produire un affichage linéaire. Le système de balayage optique comporte un premier miroir vibrant (26) et un deuxième miroir (30) monté parallèlement au premier miroir (26) entre lesquels une image de l'affichage linéaire peut se réflechir plusieurs fois. Ce système de balayage optique est prévu pour permettre de visualiser des images successives de l'affichage linéaire dans une relation juxtaposée et alignée de manière axiale, afin de réaliser un affichage à deux dimensions.
