Abstract:
(EN) In the simulation of a spatially-extended physical process the complete spatial extent of which is defined by a multiplicity of parameters (A), each parameter (A) is represented with a multi-state distinguished sequential digital logic circuit (B) the possible states of which represent the possible states of the pertaining parameter (A). The interaction of each pair of parameters (A) is represented with an interconnection (C) between the pertaining circuits (B). Each logic circuit (B) is initially established in a known state and thereafter at least one circuit (B) is pulsed to cause evolution of the circuits (B) through some or all of their possible states. The states of certain circuits (B) are determined intermittently as a mesure of the corresponding states of the parameters (A).
(FR) Dans la stimulation d'un processus physique étendu dans l'espace, dont l'étendue complète dans l'espace est définie par une multiplicité de paramètres (A), chaque paramètre (A) est représenté à l'aide d'un circuit logique numérique séquentiel multi-état distinct (B), dont les états possibles représentent les états possibles du paramètre s'y rapportant (A). L'interaction de chaque paire de paramètres (A) est représentée à l'aide d'une interconnexion (C) entre les circuits s'y rapportant (B). Chaque circuit logique (B) est initialement établi dans un état connu et par la suite, au moins un circuit (B) reçoit des instructions pour provoquer le passage des circuits (B) par certains ou la totalité de leurs états possibles. Les états de certains circuits (B) sont déterminés de manière intermittente pour permettre la mesure des états correspondants des paramètres (A).
