Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to an arrangement for obtaining increased possibilities of regulating a supercharged internal combustion engine. For the purpose of providing the driver with the possibility of adapting the supercharging level for a number of partial speed ranges in the speed range of the internal combustion engine, use is made of a setting device (6) which can be manually actuated by the driver. The setting device (6) comprises setting controls (7) with which the driver can selectively regulate the supercharging level between a minimum level and a maximum level for a number of partial speed ranges which together form the speed range of the engine. In this way the driver can adapt the torque characteristic of the engine to the prevailing operating conditions and/or the desired engine torque character.
(FR) Agencement d'obtention de possibilités accrues de régulation d'un moteur à combustion interne suralimenté. Afin de permettre au conducteur d'adapter le niveau de suralimentation à un certain nombre de plages de régimes partielles dans la plage de régimes du moteur à combustion interne, on utilise un dispositif de réglage (6) pouvant être actionné manuellement par le conducteur. Le dispositif de réglage (6) comprend des commandes de réglage (7) à l'aide desquelles le conducteur peut réguler sélectivement le niveau de suralimentation entre un niveau minimum et un niveau maximum pour un certain nombre de plages de régimes partielles, lesquelles forment ensemble la plage de régimes du moteur. Ainsi, le conducteur peut adapter la caractéristique de couple du moteur aux conditions de fonctionnement prévalant, et/ou au caractère de couple voulu du moteur.
