Abstract:
(EN) A physiologically active substance BE-16627 which is a novel inhibitor of stromelysin (human), represented by general formula (I), wherein R is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. Also disclosed are a process for preparing the same, a use of the same as a therapeutic agent for rheumatism and a cancer metastasis inhibitor, and a microorganism which produces BE-16627.
(FR) Substance physiologiquement active BE-16627 constituant un nouvel inhibiteur de la stromélysine (humaine) et représentée par la formule générale (I), dans laquelle R est un atome d'hydrogène ou un groupe méthyle. On décrit cette substance, un de ses sels acceptable en pharmacologie, un procédé de préparation, l'utilisation de cette substance en tant qu'agent thérapeutique contre le rhumatisme et en tant qu'inhibiteur de métastase cancéreuse, ainsi qu'un micro-organisme produisant le BE-16627.
