Abstract:
(EN) The combination diaphragm and valve body comprises a plastic vacuum booster valve body (32) which has molded integrally therewith via living hinges (34) a plurality of diaphragm arms (36). The diaphragm arms (36) may be disposed initially in a position substantially parallel to a longitudinal axis (A) of said valve body (32). The diaphragm arms (36) are pivoted to a position substantially orthogonal relative to the longitudinal axis (A) of the valve body (32) and ultrasonically welded to the valve body (32). Each of said diaphragm arms (36) includes a plurality of radial openings (38) at a radial end (39) thereof for receiving a metal connection member (40). The metal connection member (40) is snap-fitted into associated radial openings (38) in the diaphragm arms (36), and a diaphragm (50) is compression molded about the valve body (32) and over the surface of the diaphragm arms (36). The diaphragm arms (36) may be manufactured separately and then welded to the valve body (32).
(FR) La membrane et le corps de soupape combinés comprennent un corps de soupape en plastique (32) de servo-moteur à dépression, dans lequel sont moulés d'une pièce par l'intermédiaire de vraies charnières (34) une pluralité de bras de membrane (36). Les bras de membrane (36) peuvent être initialement disposés dans une position parallèle à l'axe longitudinal (A) dudit corps de soupape (32). Les bras de membrane (36) pivotent jusqu'à une position ortogonale par rapport à l'axe longitudinal (A) du corps de soupape (32), et sont soudées par ultrasons audit corps de soupape (32). Chacun desdits bras de membrane (36) comprend une pluralité d'orifice radio (38) situés au niveau d'une extrémité radiale (39) desdits bras, afin de recevoir un élément de connexion en métal (40). L'élément de connexion en métal (40) s'emboîte dans des orifices radio associés (38) se trouvant dans les bras de membrane (36), et une membrane (50) est moulée par compression autour du corps de soupape (32) et sur la surface des bras de membrane (36). Les bras de membrane (36) peuvent être fabriqués séparément, puis soudés au corps de soupape (32).
