(FR) AMELIORATIONS RELATIVES A DES ANALYSEURS A SPOT MOBILE
Abstract:
(EN) In order to correct for afterglow or flare in a flying spot telecine, an afterglow or flare correction circuit comprises a series of stages each of which calculate the proportion of the video signal at any one scan location (e.g. pixel) which is attributable to afterglow or flare from successive previously scanned locations or adjacent locations respectively. Each processing circuit comprises a delay (10, 12, 14), a multiplier for multiplying the delayed signal by a scaling factor dependent on the amount of decay of the delayed signal or the flare at that location and a substractor for subtracting the output of the multiplier from the measured video signal. The output of the corrector substracts a portion of the output from the previous scan locations in accordance with the stored scaling factor for that location. The scaling factor is derived over a number of video frames. Each measurement is held in an accumulator (33) and averaged to counter noise errors. Flare correction may either be performed on a single horizontal scanning line or on a block of pixels on adjacent lines surrounding the pixel.
(FR) Afin de corriger la persistance ou l'éblouissement dans un analyseur de films à spot mobile, un circuit de correction de persistance ou d'éblouissement comprend une série d'étages calculant chacun la proportion du signal vidéo à n'importe quel emplacement de blayage (pixel), lequel peut être attribué à une persistance ou à un éblouissement provenant d'emplacement balayé ou successivement au préalable ou d'emplacement adjacent respectivement. Chaque circuit de traitement comprend une temporisation (10, 12, 14), un multiplicateur destiné à multiplier le signal temporisé par un facteur d'échelle dépendant de l'ampleur de la chute du signal temporisé ou de l'éblouissement à cet emplacement, ainsi qu'un soustracteur destiné à soustraire la sortie du multiplicateur du signal vidéo mesuré. La sortie du correcteur soustrait une partie de la sortie provenant des emplacements de balayage préalable, selon le facteur d'échelle stocké pour cet emplacement. Le facteur d'échelle est dérivé d'un certain nombres d'images vidéo. Chaque mesure est maintenue dans un accumulateur (33), et est soumise à un calcul de moyenne afin d'annuler les erreurs de bruits. On peut procéder à une correction d'éblouissement soit sur une seule ligne de balayage horizontal soit sur un bloc de pixels se trouvant sur des lignes adjacentes entourant le pixel.
