Abstract:
(EN) An anti-dazzle filter (1) comprises a transparent substrate (2) to which are laminated a vertical polariser (3) and a yellow filter (4). The device may be incorporated into sunglasses or into a visor to reduce glare caused by bright sunlight. Alternatively, it may be used to reduce light back-scattered by fog or mist.
(FR) Un filtre anti-aveuglant (1) comprend un substrat transparent (2) sur lequel sont stratifiés un polarisant vertical (3) et un filtre jaune (4). Le dispositif peut être incorporé dans des lunettes de soleil ou dans un pare-soleil afin de réduire l'éblouissement provoqué par la lumière vive du soleil. Selon un autre mode de réalisation, on peut l'utiliser afin de réduire la lumière retrodiffusée par le brouillard ou par la brume.
