Title (EN) STEEL UTILITY STRUCTURE AND METHOD FOR ASSEMBLY THEREOF
(FR) STRUCTURE UTILITAIRE EN ACIER ET PROCEDE D'ASSEMBLAGE
Abstract:
(EN) A modular steel utility structure and a method of assembly is disclosed. The construction employs a plurality of vertical steel columns (14) and horizontal frames (16). Each column has capital (26) and basal steel erection plates secured at respective upper and lower ends. The capital plate has from one to four pins (34) extending upwardly therefrom and laterally off-set from the column. Each basal plate has a corresponding number of apertures (76) similarly spaced from the column. Each frame has a top (70a-d) and bottom (72a-d) erection plate (72) secured at each corner thereof. The bottom erection plate has an aperture (76) spaced from the frame members for receiving pin (34) from a capital plate (26) of a column immediately therebeneath for registration therewith.
