Abstract:
(EN) Genetic material encoding dihydrofolate reductase (DHFR) of $i(Pneumocystis carinii) has been isolated and characterized. This genetic material allows the production of peptides for use in the design of inhibitors specific for $i(P. carinii) DHFR (as opposed to DHFR in the host infected with $i(P. carinii)) or can itself be directly used in hybridization assays.
(FR) On a isolé et caractérisé une matière génétique codant la dihydrofolate réductase (DHFR) de $i(Pneumocystis carinii). Cette matière génétique permet la production de peptides utilisés dans la conception d'inhibiteurs spécifiques à la DHFR de $i(P. carinii) (par opposition à la DHFR se trouvant dans l'hôte contaminé par $i(P. carinii)), ou elle peut être utilisée directement dans des analyses d'hybridation.
