Abstract:
(EN) A method and apparatus is provided for conjoint or simultaneous adjustment of the gap spaces (32, 33) of the inner and outer grinding zones of a pulp refiner apparatus in a single step. The inner grinding zone (32) is generally radially oriented and merges into an outer inclined grinding zone (33). Pulp stock to be ground is introduced into a central inlet position (21) and is accelerated through the inner and outer grinding zones by centrifugal forces generated by a pair of grinding members (11-14) which rotate relative to one another. The opposed surfaces of the relatively rotating members each carry a plurality of concentric rows of teeth (34), and the gap spacing (32) of the inner grinding zone is defined between adjacent surfaces of the teeth. The adjacent teeth (34) defining the inner grinding zone are arranged so that adjustment of the gap space (33) of the outer grinding zone simultaneously controls the gap spacing (32) of the inner grinding zone without the need for separate adjustment. Retarding rings (62, 63) are provided adjacent to the concentric rows of teeth (34) to prevent pulp from by-passing the grinding spaces between adjacent teeth.
(FR) Procédé et appareil pour l'ajustement conjoint ou simultané des espaces (32, 33) de zones de broyage interne et externe d'un raffineur de pâte à papier en une seule étape. La zone de broyage interne (32) est généralement orientée radialement et fusionne avec une zone de broyage externe inclinée (33). La pâte à broyer est introduite dans une position centrale d'admission (21) et est accélérée au travers des zones de broyage interne et externe par des forces centrifuges générées par une paire d'organes de broyage (11-14) qui tourne en relation mutuelle. Les surfaces opposées des organes en rotation relative portent chacune une pluralité de rangées concentrique de dents (34), et l'espacement (32) de la zone de broyage interne est définie entre les surfaces adjacentes des dents. Les dents adjacentes (34) définissant la zone de broyage interne sont agencées de sorte que l'ajustement de l'espace (33) de la zone de broyage externe commande simultanément l'espace (32) de la zone de broyage interne sans avoir besoin d'un ajustement séparé. Des anneaux de retardement (62, 63) sont prévus adjacents aux rangées concentrique de dents (34) pour empêcher la pâte d'éviter les espaces de broyage entre les dents adjacentes.
