Abstract:
(EN) A system for crown and root reconstitution comprises a physiological dental securing peg (1) of composite material and a crown reconstituting material (3) placed between the peg (1) and the sound dentine walls (2a), the peg (1) being made of high strength fibres (5) embedded in a resin (4). To improve the physical behaviour of the peg, its fibres (5) are laid axially in the peg (1), are continuous from one end to the other, and are equally tensioned so that the mechanical properties of the peg so obtained are close to those of the dentine in the case of transverse modulus of elasticity and better than those of the dentine in the case of longitudinal compression-tensile strength and shear strength.
(FR) Un ensemble de reconstitution coronoradiculaire comporte un tenon d'ancrage dentaire physiologique (1) en matériau composite, et un matériau de reconstitution coronaire (3) mis en place entre le tenon (1) et les parois de dentine saine (2a), le tenon (1) étant du type à fibres de haute résistance (5) noyées dans une résine (4). Pour améliorer le comportement physique du tenon ses fibres (5) sont allongées dans le sens axial du tenon (1), continues d'une extrémité à l'autre et équitendues de manière que le tenon ainsi obtenu présente des caractéristiques mécaniques voisines de celles de la dentine en ce qui concerne le module d'élasticité transversal et supérieures à celles de la dentine en ce qui concerne la résistance à la compression-traction dans le sens longitudinal et la résistance au cisaillement.
