Title (EN) DENTAL IMPLANT, TOOLING AND SETTING METHOD
(FR) IMPLANT DENTAIRE, OUTILLAGE ET PROCEDE DE MISE EN PLACE
Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to a dental implant assembly, the tooling, as well as the method allowing to set in place said implant, preferably in the maxilla of a human being. Said implant is divided in two parts: '' the body'' and ''the head''. The profile of the body is comprised of conical portions (3 and 5) and cylindrical portions (2, 4, 6 and 7). The body has a threaded extremity (8) followed by a slit part in the form of tongues (10 and 12), which allows to screw the head on the body of the implant, and to prevent the unscrewing by folding back said tongues (10 and 12) in the grooves (14 and 16). The other extremity of the body of said implant has either a threaded stud (1) or a tapped hole to receive laton the prosthesis. The tooling includes formed cutters, the driving means as well as a grouping apparatus intended to execute the various steps of the method for setting in place the implant. The invention is applicable in the technical field of dental reconstitution.
