Title (DE) LICHTLEITER-KOPPLER
(EN) LIGHT GUIDE COUPLER
(FR) COUPLEUR DE GUIDES DE LUMIERE
Abstract:
(EN) A light-guide coupler for coupling two fiber optic light-guides has a capillary tube (22) for receiving the bevelled extremities (10, 12) of the terminal sections (14, 16) of two light-guides (18, 20). The capillary tube (22) bears two opposite photoelectric elements (24, 26) at the level of the adjacent extremities (10, 12), oriented towards the interface between the extremities (10, 12) of the terminal sections (14, 16).
