Title (EN) BUILDING PREFABRICATION BY ROOM ELEMENTS
(FR) CONSTRUCTION DE LOGEMENTS EN PREFABRIQUE DONT CHAQUE ELEMENT EST UNE PIECE
Abstract:
(EN) A building comprised of a plurality of rooms, the rooms each being defined by a separate building unit (11, 12) which is individually made and is individually transportable. The building units (11, 12) are connected together on site to form the composite building. A cavity (13) is defined between adjacent building units (11, 12) and services (30) can be supplied to the building through those cavities (13). Door and window openings (7, 8) are provided in individual building units (11, 12) as required. The building units (11, 12) are formed from wall panels (2), a floor panel (3) and a ceiling panel (4). The panels are made of reinforced concrete laminated with plaster-board.
