Abstract:
(DE) Cholesterische Flüssigkristallmischungen mit kleiner Ganghöhe, bei denen keine oder nur eine geringe Temperaturabhängigkeit der selektiven Reflexion zulässig ist, weil eine starke Temperaturabhängigkeit erwünschte Effekte stören oder verunmöglichen würde, sind temperaturkompensiert. Sie setzen sich zusammen aus einem nematischen Flüssigkristall, der mit mindestens zwei chiralen Zusätzen dotiert ist, welche die folgenden Bedingungen erfüllen: 1) a(c1B1 + c2B2) = b(c1A1 + c2A2) und 2) 1/$g(l)o(T) = a(c1A1 + c2A2) + aT(c1B1 + c2B2) + bT(c1A1 + c2A2) erfüllen, wobei $g(l)o der Mittelwert des Wellenlängenbandes der selektiven Reflexion, c1, c2,... die Konzentrationen der chiralen Dotierstoffe und Ai, Bi Koeffizienten einer Reihenentwicklung sind.
(EN) Cholesteric liquid-crystal mixtures with a small pitch, in which no, or only very little, dependence of selective reflection on temperature is acceptable since a high temperature dependence would disrupt or negate desired effects, are temperature-compensated. Such mixtures are made up of a nematic liquid crystal doped with at least two additives exhibiting chirality which fulfil the following conditions: 1) a(c1B1 + c2B2) = b(c1A1 + c2A2) and 2) 1/$g(l)o(T) = a(c1A1 + c2A2) + aT(c1B1 + c2B2) + bT(c1A1 + c2A2) where $g(l)o is the mean wavelength of the selective-reflection waveband, c1, c2,... are the concentrations of the doping agents exhibiting chirality and Ai, Bi are progression coefficients.
(FR) Des mélanges de cristaux liquides cholestériques à faible pas, n'autorisant aucune, ou seulement une faible variabilité avec la température pour la réflexion sélective, vu qu'une forte variabilité avec la température perturberait ou empêcherait les effets recherchés, sont compensés en température. Ils se composent d'un cristal liquide nématique, renfermant au moins deux additifs de dopage à caractère chiral satisfaisant aux conditions suivantes: 1) a(c1B1 + c2B2) = b(c1A1 + c2A2) et 2) 1/$g(l)o(T) = a(c1A1 + c2A2 + aT(c1B1 + c2B2) + bT(c1A1 +c2A2) où $g(l)o est la valeur moyenne de la bande de longueur d'onde de réflexion sélective, c1, c2,... sont les concentrations des substances de dopage chirales et Ai, Bi les coefficients d'un développement en série.
