Abstract:
(EN) Olefin polymers and copolymers having controlled morphology are prepared by bulk or slurry polymerization using metallocene catalysis in the presence of an alumoxane cocatalyst. Prepolymerization at a temperature of -10 °C to +35 °C during 1.5 to 3.5 minutes is immediately followed by polymerization at 55-70 °C. The fluff has a narrow grain size distribution, a smooth surface and a high bulk density.
(FR) On prépare les polymères et copolymères oléfiniques à morphologie réglée au moyen de la polymérisation séquencée ou à pulpe utilisant la catalyse à alliage organométallique en présence d'un cocatalyseur alumoxane. La prépolymérisation à une température comprise entre -10 °C et + 35 °C pendant 1,5 à 3,5 minutes est immédiatement suivie par la polymérisation à une température comprise entre 55 et 70 °C. Le duvet présente une répartition granulométrique étroite, une surface lisse et une densité apparente élevée.
