Abstract:
(EN) A method and an apparatus for the manufacture of mineral wool plates in plants, in which mineral wool is produced suspended in a gaseous medium which is supplied with a binder and whereby the mineral wool is transferred to gas pervious collection conveyors (9, 9') on which the mineral wool deposits in the form of continuous paths whereas the gaseous medium passes through the collection conveyor, and in which the said paths are moved on for being hardened (25), whereby several mineral wool paths (13, 13') are produced, at least one (13') of which is compressed in its longitudinal plane by reducing the moving speed (17, 18) of the conveyor (longitudinal compression), before said several paths are laid together to one single final path (21) which is subjected to a heat treatment under compression in a hardening oven (22), whereby the binder of the mineral wool becomes hardened, whereas at least another one (13) of said several mineral wool paths is conveyed such that the distance between adjacent points in the longitudinal plane of the path is maintained substantially constant from the moment the mineral wool is deposited on the conveyor until it enters a hardening oven.
(FR) Dans le procédé et l'appareil décrit qui servent à fabriquer des plaques de laine minérale dans des installations prévues à cet effet, on produit la laine minérale en la suspendant dans un milieu gazeux auquel on ajoute un liant et en la transférant dans des transporteurs collecteurs perméables au gaz (9, 9') sur lesquels la laine minérale se dépose sous la forme de filets continus, pendant que le milieu gazeux passe à travers le transporteur collecteur, sur lequel les filets sont déplacés en vue de durcir (25), ce qui permet de produire plusieurs filets de laine minérale (13, 13'), dont au moins un (13') est comprimé dans son plan longitudinal par réduction de la vitesse de déplacement (17, 18) du transporteur (compression longitudinale), avant que plusieurs filets soient posés à plat ensemble de façon à former un seul filet final (21), lequel est soumis à un traitement thermique sous compression dans un four de durcissement (22). Le liant de la laine minérale est ensuite amené à durcir, pendant qu'au moins un autre (13) parmi les différents filets de laine minérale est mis en mouvement sur le transporteur de sorte que la distance entre des points adjacents situés dans le plan longitudinal du filet soit maintenue sensiblement constante à partir du moment ou la laine est déposée sur le transporteur et jusqu'à ce qu'elle pénètre dans le four de durcissement.
