Abstract:
(EN) Pinhole and blister formation during autodeposition coating of active metal objects, particularly galvanized steel, other zinciferous surfaces, and even ordinary steel that has been abraded, scratched, or otherwise strained, can be greatly reduced by exposing the active metal surfaces to a solution containing cystine before using a autodeposition process itself, or by adding cystine to an otherwise conventional autodeposition composition.
(FR) On peut réduire considérablement la formation de trous d'épingles et de cloques pendant le revêtement par autodéposition d'objets métalliques actifs, notamment d'acier galvanisé, d'autres surfaces zincifères, et même d'acier ordinaire ayant été abrasé, gratté, ou ayant été soumis autrement à une contrainte, en exposant les surfaces métalliques actives à une solution contenant de la cystine, avant de recourir à un procédé d'autodéposition lui-même, ou en ajoutant de la cystine à une composition d'autodéposition classique différente.
