Abstract:
(EN) A medical device valving mechanism (10) comprising a molded plastic, one-piece, elongated valve body (12) molded to have a longitudinally extending body shaped to be gripped and securely held in either hand leaving the hand's thumb free for valve operational movement. The body (12) has at least one fluid passageway (28) extending longitudinally therethrough and cylindrical opening (40) extending transversely therethrough to intercept the passageway (28). A cylindrical molded plastic, one-piece rotor (50) for snug slidable and rotational insertion into the cylindrical opening (40) to block passageway (28) is provided. The rotor (50) has at least one transaxial passageway (64) which opens the at least one fluid passageway (28) through the valve body (12) when the rotor (50) is in its valve opening position and which closes the fluid passageway (28) when the rotor (50) is in its valve closing position.
(FR) L'invention se rapporte à un dispositif à clapet (10) pour dispositifs medicaux, qui comprend un corps de clapet allongé monobloc en plastique moulé (12), moulé de façon à se présenter sous la forme d'un corps s'étendant longitudinalement et conçu de façon à pouvoir être saisi et maintenu fermement dans une main, tout en laissant le pouce libre pour permettre l'actionnement du clapet. Le corps (12) est traversé longitudinalement par au moins une voie de passage pour fluide (28) et transversalement par une ouverture cylindrique (40) qui coupe la voie de passage (28). Un rotor cylindrique monobloc en plastique moulé (50) est destiné à être introduit de façon affleurante par coulissement et par rotation dans l'ouverture cylindrique (40), de façon à bloquer la voie de passage (28). Le rotor (50) comporte au moins une voie de passage transaxiale (64) qui libère la voie de passage pour fluide (28) traversant le corps de clapet (12), lorsque le rotor (50) est en position d'ouverture du clapet, et qui obture la voie de passage pour fluide (28) lorsque le rotor (50) est en position de fermeture du clapet.
