Abstract:
(EN) A structured product family of electric motor models that utilize a maximized number of common component parts in a maximum number of different applications and methods for assembling various motor sub-components is disclosed. The motor (20) comprises: a frame (22) which may have a freely-aligning bearing means (60) adhesively operatively assembled therein and at least two permanent magnet means (24) also adhesively connected thereto; an armature (26) including an approximately uniform shaft (32) having a core (28) comprising a plurality of computer optimized laminations (30) inductively heated prior to assembly on the shaft so that minimum stress is imparted to the shaft by the laminations (30). A mounting flange (64) is adhesively connected to the frame (22). Also disclosed are methods of assembling various subcomponents such as the commutator (38) to the shaft (32), the magnets (24) to the frame (22) and the freely-aligning bearing means (60) in the frame (22) and end shield sockets (218).
(FR) On décrit une famille de produits structurée de modèles de moteurs électriques utilisant un nombre maximisé de parties constitutives communes dans un nombre maximum d'applications différentes, ainsi que des procédés d'assemblage de divers sous-composants de moteurs.
