A method of and a device for controlling an induction motor for a compressor coupled to the motor through a revolving shaft and having a compressing element driven by said revolving shaft contained in one hermetically sealed vessel, in which AC current in a pattern determined corresponding to the rotational angle of the compressing element is supplied in sequence to the motor starting at a specific phase position of said AC current every time the rotational angle of the compressing element reaches a specified degree.

Un procédé et un dispositif permettant de commander un moteur à induction d'un compresseur couplé au moteur par un arbre rotatif, l'élément compresseur entraîné par ledit arbre rotatif étant contenu dans un récipient hermétiquement fermé. Un courant alternatif est appliqué en séquence au moteur selon un schéma déterminé qui correspond à l'angle de rotation de l'élément compresseur, à commencer par une position de phase spécifique dudit courant alternatif chaque fois que l'angle de rotation de l'élément compresseur atteint un degré spécifique.
