Ein Kontaktelement zur werkzeugfreien Kontaktierung von isolierten elektrischen Leitern, die aus einer leitenden metallischen Seele (62) und einer diese umgebenden Isolation bestehen, enhält ein Kontaktmesser (26), das einen mit einer Schneide (40) versehenen Schlitz (38) aufweist. In diesen Schlitz ist der isolierte elektrische Leiter (52) von einem Eintrittsende her einziehbar. Dabei wird die Isolation durchschnitten, so daß die metallische Seele (62) mit den Kanten (42, 44) des Schlitzes (38) Kontakt gibt. Um die Handhabung zu erleichtern und Werkzeuge entbehrlich zu machen, ist der Leiter (52) in eine konkave Führungsfläche (20) einschiebbar. Das Kontaktmesser (26) ist in solcher Lage zu der Führungsfläche (20) angeordnet, daß bei Ausübung eines Zuges auf den Leiter der Leiter in den Schlitz (38) eingezogen wird und das freie Ende (60) des Leiters (52) an den Drahtabstützmitteln (20) gegen Ausweichen abgestützt ist.

A contact component for the toolless contacting of insulated electric conductors consisting of a conductive metal core (62) and insulation surrounding it comprises a contact blade (26) having a slot (38) fitted with a cutting edge (40). The insulated electric conductor (52) may be drawn into the slot through an entry. Here the insulation is cut through so that the metal core (62) makes contact with the edges (42, 44) of the slot (38). To facilitate handling and make tools superfluous, the conductor (52) may be pushed into a concave guide surface (20). The contact blade (26) is arranged in such a relative position to the guide surface (20) that tension on the conductor draws it into the slot (38) and the free end (60) of the conductor (52) is supported against deflection on the wire supports (20).

Un élément de contact assurant la mise en contact, sans l'aide d'outils, de conducteurs électriques isolés composés d'une âme métallique conductrice (62) et d'un isolant entourant celle-ci, renferme une lame de contact (26) présentant une rainure (38) munie d'une arête coupante (40). Le conducteur électrique isolé (52) est introduit dans cette rainure par une extrémité d'entrée. L'isolant est alors coupé, de sorte que l'âme métallique (62) fait contact avec les bords (42, 44) de la rainure (38). Pour simplifier la manipulation et rendre inutile l'emploi d'outils, le conducteur (52) est glissé dans une face de guidage concave (20). La lame de contact (26) est disposée, par rapport à la face de guidage (20), en un emplacement tel que lorsqu'on exerce une traction sur le conducteur, celui-ci est introduit dans la rainure (38), et l'extrémité libre (60) dudit conducteur (52) est maintenue en place sur les supports de câble (20), pour éviter qu'elle glisse latéralement.
