Zur Gewinnung von R-(+)-3-oxocycloalkyancarbonsäureniederalkylestern unterwirft man das entsprechende Racemat bei einem pH-Wert von etwa 7 bis 8 der Einwirkung einer Hydrolase, welche das unerwünschte Enantiomer hydrolysiert, wonach der gewünschte Ester aus dem Reaktionsmedium isoliert werden kann.

In a process for obtaining lower alkyl esters of R-(+)-3-oxocycloalkane carboxylic acids, the corresponding racemate undergoes hydrolysis at a pH between 7 and 8 in order to hydrolyse the unwanted enantiomer. The ester of interest can then be isolated from the reaction medium.

Afin de produire des esters d'alkyles inférieurs d'acides R-(+)-3-oxocycloalcancarboxyliques, on soumet le racémate correspondant à l'action d'une hydrolase, à un pH compris entre 7 et 8 environ, de façon à hydrolyser l'énantiomère indésirable. On peut ensuite isoler l'ester voulu contenu dans le milieu de réaction.
