Abstract
(EN)
A curable coating composition comprises a hydroxy-functional component (A) having at least two hydroxy groups per molecule and an anhydride-functional component (B) having at least two carboxylic acid anhydride groups per molecule. At least one of the components (A) and (B) is a film-forming polymer. The coating composition contains amidine groups for accelerating the curing reaction between the hydroxy groups of component (A) and the anhydride groups of component (B). The amidine groups are present in the molecule of either of the components (A) or (B) and/or are present in the form of a separate compound containing an amidine group. The component or compound containing an amidine group generally has formula (I) in which R1 represents hydrogen, or an organic group attached through a carbon atom, or an amine group which can be substituted, or a hydroxy group or etherified hydroxy group; R2 and R3 each independently represent hydrogen or an organic group attached through a carbon atom or are joined to one another to form (with the linking -N=C-N-) a heterocyclic ring; and R4 represents hydrogen, an organic group attached through a carbon atom, or a hydroxyl group which can be etherified. Preferably, R2 and R3 are joined to form an imidazoline, imidazole, tetrahydropyrimidine, dihydropyrimidine or pyrimidine ring.

Une composition d'enduction durcissable contient un constituant fonctionnel hydroxy (A) ayant au moins deux groupes hydroxy par molécule et un constituant fonctionnel anhydride (B) ayant au moins deux groupes anhydride d'acide carboxylique par molécule. Au moins un des constituants (A) et (B) est un polymère filmogène. La composition d'enduction contient des groupes amidines pour l'accélération de la réaction de durcissement entre les groupes hydroxy du constituant (A) et les groupes anhydride du constituant (B). Les groupes amidines sont présents dans la molécule soit des constituants (A) ou (B) et/ou soit présents sous la forme d'un composé distinct contenant un groupe amidine. Le constituant ou composé contenant un groupe amidine possède la formule générale (I) dans laquelle R1 représente l'hydrogène, ou un groupe organique combiné par l'intermédiaire d'un atome de carbone, ou un groupe amine qui peut être substitué, ou encore un groupe hydroxy ou un groupe hydroxy éthérifié; R2 et R3 représentent indépendamment l'un de l'autre l'hydrogène ou un groupe organique combiné par l'intermédiaire d'un atome de carbone ou sont joints l'un à l'autre pour constituer (avec la liaison -N=C-N-) un anneau hétérocyclique; et R4 représente de l'hydrogène, un groupe organique combiné par l'intermédiaire d'un atome de carbone, ou un groupe hydroxyle qui peut être éthérifié. De préférence R2 et R3 sont joints pour constituer un anneau imidazoline, imidazole, tétrahydropyrimidine, dihydropyrimidine ou pyrimidine.
