Abstract

A superflow diffuser and spout assembly (fig. 1) includes an inlet (38) for carbonated water, an inlet for syrup (40), and a diffuser assembly (60) through which the carbonated water passes prior to being dispensed. The flow separator is operative to separate the carbonated water into at least two streams; one stream is directed to flow along an outside surface of the spout (as at 16), the second stream is directed to flow inside the spout (through 86). The second stream collides with and thus mixes with syrup distributed within the spout (through 82), then the first stream and the second stream, then mixed with syrup, meet to form a single stream for dispensing downstream of the spout. A second embodiment (fig. 2) includes a syrup distributor (112) having a plurality of inlets to channels (114) for different flavored syrups and a shroud (130) located within the spout between the syrup distributor (112) and an inner surface of the spout (120). A third embodiment (figs. 3 and 4) includes a diffuser assembly (230) and spout (214) configuration. Also provided are additional diluent channels (262) adapted to transport a portion of the diluent into the beverage concentrate stream.

Un ensemble de diffuseur et de bec à superécoulement (fig. 1) comprend des admissions (38) d'eau gazéifiée, une admission de sirop (40) ainsi qu'un ensemble diffuseur (60) par lequel l'eau gazéifiée passe avant d'être distribuée. Le séparateur d'écoulement sert à séparer l'eau gazéifiée en au moins deux courants; un courant étant dirigé pour s'écouler le long d'une surface extérieure dudit bec (16), le second courant étant dirigé pour s'écouler à l'intérieur dudit bec (dans 86). Le second courant rencontre et ainsi se mélange avec le sirop distribué à l'intérieur du bec (dans 82), puis les premier et second courants, alors mélangés au sirop, se rencontrent pour former un seul courant destiné à être distribué en aval dudit bec. Un second mode de réalisation (fig. 2) comprend un distributeur de sirop (112) doté d'une pluralité d'admissions dans des canaux (114) destinés à différents sirops aromatisés, et une enveloppe de protection (130) située à l'intérieur dudit bec entre le distributeur de sirop (112) et une surface intérieure dudit bec (120). Un troisième mode de réalisation (figs. 3 et 4) comprend un ensemble diffuseur (230) et une configuration à bec (214). De plus, on a prévu des canaux de diluant supplémentaires (262) adaptés pour transporter une partie du diluant dans le courant concentré de boisson.
