Abstract

The invention relates to a separative membrane made of an aromatic polyimide, which is substantially constituted of a polyimide having the repeating units represented by general formula (I) (wherein R represents a tetravalent aromatic group, and R1 to R4 each represents an organic group containing 1 to 12 carbon atoms), and a process for preparing said membrane which comprises dissolving the aromatic polyimide described above in an organic liquid, forming a membrane from the solution, and heating the formed membrane at 200 °C or above.

L'invention se rapporte à une membrane de séparation fabriquée en polyimide aromatique, qui se compose essentiellement d'un polyimide formé par la répétition des unités représentées par la formule générale (I) (où R représente un groupe aromatique tétravalent et les éléments R1 à R4 représentent chacun un groupe organique contenant 1 à 12 atomes de carbone), ainsi qu'à un procédé de préparation d'une telle membrane qui consiste à dissoudre le polyimide aromatique décrit ci-dessus dans un liquide organique, à former une membrane à partir de cette solution, puis à chauffer la membrane ainsi formée à une température égale ou supérieure à 200 °C.
