Test and measurement apparatus for testing a wristwatch pager (10) having an FM receiver (55) and a wristband antenna (14) coupled to the user's body. A monitor circuit (34) mounted on a watch-sized printed circuit board and its controller located remotely therefrom provide a means to remotely control and monitor the operation of the watch circuits by way of a fiber-optic link (40, 41) between the controller (32) and the monitor circuit (34), thereby suppressing false antenna coupling and removing from the vicinity of the watch circuits all electromagnetic inferference generated by the controller (32). An optoelectronic feedback circuit linearizes emissions from a light emitting diode transmitting analog data over the fiber-optic link.

L'invention concerne un appareil de test et de mesure destiné à tester un dispositif de recherche de personne à montre-bracelet (10) comportant un récepteur FM (55) ainsi qu'une antenne-bracelet (14) couplés au corps de l'utilisateur. Un circuit de contrôle (34) monté sur une carte de circuit imprimé de la taille d'une montre, ainsi que son unité de commande éloignée de cette dernière, constitue un moyen de commander et de contrôler à distance le fonctionnement des circuits de la montre, au moyen d'une liaison à fibre optique (40, 41) entre ladite unité de commande (32) et ledit circuit de contrôle (34), supprimant ainsi le faux couplage de l'antenne, et éliminant de la proximité des circuits de la montre toutes les interférences électromagnétiques générées par ladite unité de commande (32). Un circuit de retour optoélectronique linéarise les émissions provenant d'une diode électroluminescente transmettant des données analogiques par ladite liaison à fibre optique.
