Die Erfindung betrifft eine zumindest eine elektrische Komponente aufweisende Insassen-Sicherheitseinrichtung, insbesondere ein Rückhaltesystem wie z.B. Airbag und/oder Gurtstraffer, für ein mit Bordnetz versehenes Fahrzeug, mit einer Energiereserve-Schaltung zur kurzzeitigen Aufrechterhaltung der Spannungsversorgung für eine Auslösung der Sicherheitseinrichtung. Für eine sichere Funktion wird vorgeschlagen, daß die Sicherheitseinrichtung beim Überschreiten eines vorgebbaren Maximalwertes (Umax) der Bordnetzspannung (UN) von dieser getrennt und mit der Energiereserve-Schaltung (9) verbunden wird.

A safety device having an electric component, in particular a restraining system such as an airbag and/or a belt tensioner, for the passengers of vehicles provided with their own electric supply system, has an energy supply stand-by circuit to temporarily maintain the voltage supply required to trigger the safety device. To ensure a reliable operation, the safety device is disconnected from the voltage (Un) of the electric supply system of the vehicle and is connected to the energy supply stand-by circuit (9) when the voltage (NN) of the electric supply system of the vehicle exceeds a predeterminable maximum value (Umax).

Un dispositif de sécurité pour les passagers d'un véhicule pourvu d'un réseau de bord, notamment un système de retenue tel que coussin d'air et/ou tendeur de ceinture de sécurité, comprend au moins un composant électrique et un circuit d'alimentation d'appoint qui assure temporairement l'alimentation en tension nécessaire pour déclencher le dispositif de sécurité. Afin d'obtenir un fonctionnement fiable, le dispositif de sécurité est débranché de la tension (UN) du réseau de bord et connecté au circuit d'alimentation d'appoint (9) lorsque la tension du réseau de bord dépasse une valeur maximale (Umax) prédéterminable.
