Abstract
(EN)
An electrical cable in-line or branch joint has hydrophobic material (16, 18) located around the connections of the conductors so as to act as a water block. The hydrophobic material (16, 18) is physically prevented from being forced away from the connections into the cables, for exemple by pressure of water within the cable, by a fibrous material (17) located in and around the crutch regions where the conductors emerge from the cable joints.

L'invention se rapporte à un raccord de dérivation ou de raccordement en ligne pour câble électrique, qui comporte un matériau hydrophobe (16, 18) disposé autour des connexions des conducteurs, de façon à servir de barrière bloquant l'eau. On empêche physiquement le matériau hydrophobe (16, 18) de sortir de force des connexions se trouvant à l'intérieur des câbles, par exemple par une pression d'eau s'exerçant dans le câble, grâce à l'utilisation d'un matériau fibreux (17) disposé à l'intérieur et autour des régions d'intersection où les conducteurs sortent des raccords du câble.
