Um nur die feinsten Tropfen zur Verwendungsstelle führen zu können, wird das eingedüste Tropfenkollektiv mit dem Trägergasstrom (7) umgelenkt, so dass Tropfen, die eine Maximalgrösse überschreiten, ausgeschieden werden. Die ausgeschiedenen Tropfen können zusätzlich noch über eine beheizte Kontaktfläche (10) in den Trägergasstrom vernebelt werden. Mit diesem Verfahren ist es möglich, einen Flüssigkeitsnebel in einen Trägergasstrom wie ein Gas zu führen.

In order to ensure that only the smallest droplets are carried to the point of use, injected droplets are deflected to one side together with the carrier-gas stream (7) so that droplets over a certain size are separated. Said droplets can then be reatomized into the carrier-gas stream by means of a heated contact surface (10). This process makes is possible to introduce an atomized-liquid spray into a carrier-gas stream like a gas.

Pour que seules les gouttelettes les plus fines parviennent au site d'utilisation, l'ensemble des gouttelettes éjectées par une buse est dévié avec le courant (7) de gaz porteur, de façon à séparer les gouttes dont les dimensions dépassent une valeur maximale. Les gouttes séparées peuvent en outre être pulvérisées à nouveau sur une surface de contact chauffée (10) et introduites dans le courant de gaz porteur. Ce procédé permet d'entraîner un brouillard de liquide dans un courant de gaz porteur comme s'il s'agissait d'un gaz.
