Abstract

A tube fitting particularly adapted to inert polymeric tubing, has a polymeric plug (11) with a tapered seat (15) and a relief portion (14) in a bore (16), the plug (11) being received in a case (29) having a threaded port (28) adjacent the plug bore (16). A ferrule (17) and a threaded nut (25) seal the polymeric tube to the plug (11). The ferrule may be extended through the nut bore and be retained in the nut by a flange (32, fig. 2) at the outer end of the nut. The fitting may include further gripping means (64, 71, figures 6, 7) to resist axial pulling of the polymeric tube.

Le raccord de tube décrit, qui est particulièrement conçu pour des tubages en matériau polymère inerte, comprend un élément mâle polymère (11) comportant un siège à section conique décroissante (15) et une partie de relaxation (14) dans un alésage (16).
