Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft Kunststoffe, die dadurch erhältlich sind, daß man aus ungesättigten und/oder hydroxylgruppenhaltigen Fettsäuren oder deren Estern durch Reaktion mit bifunktionellen ester- und/oder amidbildenden Verbindungen und gegebenenfalls durch anschließende Umsetzung vorhandener ethylenischer Doppelbindungen Difettsäurediamide, Difettsäurediester, Difettsäureamidester, Monofettsäureamidamine oder Monofettsäureamidalkohole als Monomerbausteine herstellt, die wenigstens zwei funktionelle Gruppen, insbesondere ethylenische Doppelbindungen, Hydroxylgruppen, Epoxidgruppen oder Aminogruppen enthalten, über die eine Verknüpfung zu Polymeren erfolgen kann, und diese dann über eine zweite Gruppe bifunktioneller Verbindungen, die zur Reaktion mit diesen freien funktionellen Gruppen in der Lage sind, zu den gewünschten Kunststoffen verknüpft.

Plastics can be obtained from monomer components consisting of difatty acid diamides difatty acid esters, difatty acid diamide esters, monofatty acid amidoamines or monofatty acid amidoalcohols by reacting unsaturated and/or hydroxylated fatty acids or their esters with bifunctional ester- and/or amide-forming compounds and then, if necessary, converting any ethylenic double bonds present. These monomer components contain at least two functional groups, in particular ethylenic double bonds, hydroxyl groups, epoxide groups or amino groups, which can be linked to form the polymers. These can then be linked to form the desired plastics by means of a second group of bifunctional compounds capable of reacting with these free functional groups.

Des matières plastiques peuvent être obtenues avec des composants monomères formés de diamides, de diesters, d'amidesters de diacides gras, d'amidamines ou d'amidalcools de monoacides gras produits en faisant réagir des acides gras insaturés et/ou contenant des groupes hydroxyles, ou leurs esters, avec des composés bifonctionnels formateurs d'esters et/ou d'amides, puis le cas échéant en convertissant les liaisons doubles éthyléniques existantes. Ces composants monomères contiennent au moins deux groupes fonctionnels, notamment des liaisons doubles éthyléniques, des groupes hydroxyles, des groupes époxydes ou des groupes amines, qui permettent de les réticuler entre eux de façon à former des polymères. Ceux-ci peuvent ensuite être mutuellement reticulés, de façon à produire les matières plastiques voulues, par un deuxième groupe de composés bifonctionnels capables de réagir avec ces groupes fonctionnels libres.
