The invention relates to a process for treating phosphoric acid which is characterised by the fact that the thermodynamic and kinetic parameters are adjusted in such a way as to form a compound of formula (I): (SO4)1-x(PO4)x(H)yCa1-$g(d)M; where x is between 1/2.10-2 and 1.10-1, advantageously from 1.10-2 to 1/2.10-1; y is between 0 and x + $g(d), preferably between x - 1/2 of delta and x + 1/2 of delta; where delta indicates the replacement of calcium by other metal cations, where M represents one or more metal cations whose total charge is about equal to 2 delta + x - y. Application: the purification of industrial phosphoric acid.

L'invention concerne un procédé de traitement de l'acide phosphorique. Il est caractérisé par le fait que l'on ajuste les paramètres thermodynamiques et cinétiques, de manière à former un composé de formule (I): (SO4)1-x(PO4)x(H)yCa1-$g(d)M; où x est compris entre 1/2.10-2 et 1.10-1, avantageusement de 1.10-2 à 1/2.10-1; y est compris entre 0 et x + $g(d), de préférence entre x - 1/2 de delta et x + 1/2 de delta; où delta indique la substitution du calcium par d'autres cations métalliques; où M représente un ou plusieurs cations métalliques dont la charge totale est environ égale à 2 delta + x - y. Application à la purification de l'acide phosphorique industriel.
